In our devotional time, we are going through I Corinthians 2 where it speaks of "extreme sorrow." I asked what "extreme sorrow" was. JD promptly answered, "Extreme sorrow is when your parents buy you a present and won't let you open it for 10 years."
Ellie has now taken to the motherly task of nursing her teddy bears.
When asked why he hit someone square in the head with a boogie board in the swimming pool, JD responded, "Because I was trying to teach them a game and they weren't listening to me!"
Quotes for the Soul
I've decided to replace the not-so popular (although, Nancy, I do appreciate your steadfastness) Q&A with various quotes; some serious...some not-so-serious.
Enjoy!
"Good is the enemy of better; and better is the enemy of best."
